Officers made the arrest at 2am in Hindes Road with support from police helicopters.

A 34-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of possession of a firearm and production of cannabis.

Police required support from an air support unit at 2am on Thursday last week after a report was received of a man seen in possession of a firearm.

The helicopter was working in a 'containment capacity' during the incident in Hindes Road, Harrow .

The man was arrested and has been bailed to return to a north-west London police station on a date in early October.
