A 12-YEAR old boy has been charged with burglary after a car he was in crashed into a brick wall, with police just waiting around the corner.
The car crash happened on Thursday at 10am in Cherry Lane, West Drayton, with the 21 year old driver also being arrested and now facing five separate charges.
The pair are accused of an alleged burglary in Chestnut Close, Hayes, on the same day, and appeared at Uxbridge Magistrate's Court on Friday.
Fran Elton, who lives in Cherry Lane, said: "It crashed right into a brick wall. A couple of yards away and it would have been right into my house."
The 12 year old, from Hayes, who cannot be named for legal reasons, is charged with one count of burglary.
Martin McDonagh, 21, of Stansfield Road, Hounslow, is charged with burglary, driving while disqualified, aggravated vehicle taking and dangerous driving, driving a motor vehicle without insurance, and driving without a license.
