AN ENGLAND World Cup music song written by a man from Hayes is aiming to hit the charts this week- and the video is available to view on the Gazette's website.
'We Are The England Fans', written by swimming pool teacher Neil Sullivan, and co-produced with his father Mark, is aiming to make an impression on this week's Top 40, to coincide with St. George's Day.
After teaming up with 80s pop group Black Lace, who were behind catchy songs Music Man and Agadoo, Sullivan hired an open-top bus around London's most famous landmarks to film the video.
The song is written to the tune of Music Man, and has been performed in Liquid Uxbridge, and at Hayes and Yeading Football Club to huge success.
Now Neil Sullivan, 28, is hoping the tune can become a nationwide hit in time for the World Cup, with all profits going to charity Help For Heroes.
He said: "We are busy promoting it at the moment, sending flyers out and getting in touch with different radio and television stations.
"Now the video is complete, it will be a big step forward for us. I am urging everybody to go and buy the single, and help us get to number one."
