POLICE have released an e-fit of the man wanted for a violent assualt in Hayes two weeks ago.

A £5,000 reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest of the man who seriously injured a 63 year-old woman in the underpass near Carlyon Road on November 25.

The woman, Valerie Dancer, remains seriously ill in hospital and her family are at her bedside.

The attacker stole several items of property including a pink Nokia flip mobile phone and a black Radley purse.

He is described as a young Somalian male in his teens and was wearing dark clothing.

Following the attack he ran out of the underpass into Carlyon Road towards Hayes, possibly turning left in the direction of Uxbridge Road, Hayes.

DI Mark Brookes said: "I am urging anyone who has information who has information, about this attack or recognises the person in the e-fit or may have seen Mrs Dancer's phone or purse to contact Hillingdon Police. urgently.

"This includes any information or suspicions, however small."
