I am writing to ask if any of your readers have been touched by heart disease and could possibly be a case study for our 'Saving Lives in London Appeal'?

By doing this your readers will only have to spare 10 minutes to tell us their story and in doing so you will help the British Heart Foundation fight heart disease, the UK's single biggest killer.

The appeal is to raise £100,000 that will go towards placing life-saving defibrillators across London in public places.

Therefore, have you yourself had heart disease, or a close friend or member of your family? Would you like to contact me and tell me your story?

For more information about the appeal visit bhf.org.uk/londondefib, email me, Jane Harries, on harriesj@bhf.org.uk or call 01628 673390.
