Nationwide SATs results were published today (Tuesday) showing Harrow to be above average in almost all departments.
Although Harrow's key stage 2 results were released on schedule, two weeks ago, many children across the country were left in the dark about their marks until this week.
The release therefore shows how Harrow compares to other boroughs in the capital and against the national average.
In Science and English Harrow pupils gained two and three per cent more level fives (highest possible mark) than the national average respectively, while in Maths they fared a massive seven per cent better than most Local Education Authority's (LEA's).
The results also showed that girls in Harrow school's tended to perform better in English and Science while boys led the way with higher marks in Maths.
A break down of the performances of each school in the borough are set to be released in September.
