Rail and Tube passengers could soon enjoy a new ticket office, seating and security cameras at Harrow and Wealdstone station.

Transport for London (TfL) is also proposing to introduce more tactile tiles - to help blind passengers identify platform edges and stairs - and refurbish staff facilities as part of a planning application submitted to Harrow Council.

A spokeswoman for TfL said the scheme for the station in The Bridge, Wealdstone - which is served by the Bakerloo line, London Overground and the London Midland franchise - is part of a network wide £10 billion modernisation plan.
