Harrow Citizens Advice Bureau was officially opened on Wednesday (May 20) with a Royal visit.

Staff and volunteers welcomed HRH Princess Anne, patron of the Citizens Advice Bureau, as she was shown around the facilities at the new premises.

The Princess Royal also met with staff and volunteers who help locals with problems.

The Harrow bureau, now located in Milton Road, is one of the oldest bureaux in the country.

The bureau was originally founded as part of the first group of 200 bureaux opening in 1939, just a day after the Second World War was declared.
