Harrow-born ITV presenter Mike Morris dies

A HARROW-born former TV breakfast show anchor Mike Morris has died.

A HARROW-born former TV breakfast show anchor Mike Morris has died.

The presenter worked on TV-AM's weekday flagship programme 'Good Morning Britain' from 1987 until the company lost its regional franchise in 1992.

Four years later he rejoined regional television and fronted 'Calendar', the news programme on Yorkshire Television, now rebranded ITV Yorkshire, until retirement in March 2002.

He died yesterday at the age of 65, leaving two daughters and three grandchildren.
