TWO teenagers have been arrested over the murder of David Headlam, who bled to death from a stab wound to the leg in Harlesden.

The Metropolitan Police said the 18-year-old and the 17-year-old were arrested earlier this morning on suspicion of murder, and both remain in police custody.

Mr Headlam, of Donnington Road, Willesden, was found seriously injured in Drayton Road, Harlesden , at 1.10am on Sunday, and was taken to a central London hospital where he died at 3.20am.

Officers believe he had been walking home from a friend's house when he sustained the ultimately fatal blow.

A post-mortem examination at Northwick Park Hospital carried out later that day gave cause of death as haemorrhaging due to stab wounds to the thigh.

The 18-year-old victim was a director of his family’s property business and son of Bishop Alanzo Headlam, a pastor for World Vision Apostolic Church.
