WORK to refurbish and improve the Harefield War Memorial has been completed.
The spruce-up is part of Hillingdon Council's Civic Pride programme, launched by the former Mayor of Hillingdon, Councillor Brian Crowe.
He said: "War memorials are a very important reminder for us all of the courage and dedication of all service personnel, and those who have so tragically lost their lives in conflicts all over the world."
