A youngster from Harefield Infants School won third place in a speaking and listening competition.
More than 2,500 pupils took part in the Look Whose Talking contest for seven and eight-year-olds.
Ten finalists were invited to give presentations in the council chambers at Hillingdon Civic Centre in front of proud parents and teachers. Among them was Isobel Goodliffe, of the High Street school.
She spoke confidently about rabbits and said afterwards: “That was really good, I wish I could do it all again”.
The competition was judged by Mayor of Hillingdon, Councillor Mary O’Connor, Urmilla Datta, primary literacy advisor, and Melanie Wright, governor support officer for Hillingdon.
