An infant school has been recognised for its work supporting pupils with high abilities.

Harefield Infant School in School Parade, High Street has achieved the NACE (National Association for Able Children in Education) Challenge Award in recognition of their work with their 'Able, Gifted and Talented' children.

They are one of just 25 infant schools in the country to receive the award. In total 308 schools in England have been recognised.

They will celebrate this achievement as well as winning an Eco Schools England Green Flag Award, at a presentation next week when they will be joined by the Mayor and Mayoress of Hillingdon councillor Catherine Dann and Rita Kilroy, and Baroness Floella Benjamin.
