Golf Day in Northwood tomorrow for hospice

MICHAEL Sobell House hospice will host its 10th anniversary Golf Day in Northwood tomorrow (23).

MICHAEL Sobell House hospice will host its 10 ^th anniversary Golf Day in Northwood tomorrow (23).

The popular fundraising event, one of the highlights of the local golfing calendar, will be held Sandy Lodge Golf Club, in Sandy Lodge Lane.

Last year's event saw 112 golfers raise almost £30,000 for the charity, based at Mount Vernon Hospital in Rickmansworth Road.

The hospice needs to raise £1.2million every year to maintain its vital palliative care and support for patients with life-limiting illnesses.
