Girls have secured places on a range of degrees at competitive universities after almost 90 per cent of A-level grades were A* to C.

Individual successes at St Augustine’s Priory in Hillcrest Road include Lillian Babayan with three A grades who will study Geography at UCL, Rebecca Graham with one A* and two As who goes on to UEA to do an English and Creative Writing course and April Rassam who will study medicine at St. George’s after getting two As and a B.

The school's deputy head girl, Tara Delargy, achieved an A*, A and B and is going to Leeds University to study Geography.

Sarah Raffray, Headteacher, said: “Many congratulations are due to this successful group of students who have achieved a strong set of examination results, leaving the school as impressive, cultured women who have tasted success across a broad range of skills and disciplines.

"I also extend thanks to parents and staff who have guided and supported the girls."
