Spooky fun has arrived direct from the grave at Hounslow’s Treaty Centre.

The ghastly goings on kicked off a day early, at noon on Wednesday, with the first of four comedy zombie shows from Bread and Butter Theatre.

The two hapless zombies drew squeals of delight from the young audience as they capered around the High Street shopping centre outside Debenhams.

A particular highlight was when one used a yo-yo to knock a lollipop from the mouth of his decaying friend. There were prizes for the best Halloween fancy dress and the chance for everyone to learn the Time Warp.

Children were also able to show off their creative skills at a craft workshop where they can make fantastic bats, cats, spiders, pumpkins or ghosts to take home.

Janet Leatherland, Treaty Centre manager, said: “It was wonderful to see so many children and families enjoying the free crafts and entertainment. So many children, mums, dads and grandparents joined in with the dancing and magic tricks. There were hundreds of children in spooky fancy dress, it was a brilliant sight.”
