TEARS of joy were flowing this morning at Rivers Academy, in Feltham, where students are celebrating another record set of GCSE results.
The proportion of pupils getting five or more A*-C grades rose from 90 per cent last year to 95 per cent - 15 per cent up on two years ago.
Headteacher Paula Kenning said more students than ever before had secured a place at the school's sixth form.
The school's GCSE success follows a strong set of A-level results last week, which helped nearly half of students going on to do a degree secure places at elite Russell Group universities.
