NEARLY three quarters (72 per cent) of students at Brentford School for Girls bagged at least five A*-Cs including maths and English, the school's 'best ever' results.
The proportion getting at least five grades at C or above in any subject was also up, at 90 per cent.
Headteacher Marais Leenders said: "We are totally delighted about this year's results, particularly since the national picture looks quite gloomy.
"The girls and their teachers have worked incredibly hard and their efforts have been highly rewarded. We are all very proud of what we have achieved as a community."
Star students include:
Merwa Badar, Jasmin Perry and Mayuri Rathod, who each achieved eight A*s and two As
Tashfia Ahmed, Olivia Gibbs Farley and Karishma Vijay, who each earned seven A*s and 3As
Izzy Akhabau, who got six A*s and 4As
