FUTURE dance and singing stars were given the opportunity to shine at a free taster session.

Children aged six to 18 years old attended the opening of Future Stars at Stanmore College on Saturday and took part in performance activities and enjoyed cakes and face painting.

Mysty Parks, who launched Future Stars Theatre Arts, said: “Students can work on their LAMDA exams and will be trained by professional actors, dancers and singers.

“The main aim of Future Stars is to make theatre arts training accessible to the majority of young people and we will be offering scholarship places.”

Classes will start at Stanmore College every Saturday, from 10am to 1pm, in a range of performing arts. See www.futurestarstheatrearts.co.uk for more details.
