A 28-year-old man was shot dead last night in Fulham Court hours after the funeral of Darcy Bruce, a former resident of the estate who was gunned down outside Wandsworth Prison in May.
Police were called at around 6.50pm after receiving reports of shots being fired in Fulham Court.
Armed officers were dispatched to the area, accompanied by the London Ambulance Service, and found the victim suffering from gunshot wounds. He died at the scene shortly after.
Police tape marked the crime scene this morning as detectives from Hammersmith and Fulham CID and forensic officers scoured the area for clues.
Trident, the Metropolitan Police unit dedicated to gun crime, has been informed.
The identity of the victim will be revealed once his next of kin have been notified. No arrests have been made.
Darcy Bruce, 20, was killed in the car park of Wandsworth Prison on May 1 after being shot several times in the stomach. Three men aged 19, 22 and 26, were arrested on suspicion of murder and released on bail.
