A FREE event for carers looking after family and friends takes place tomorrow, Tuesday, June 11.
Information and advice for carers will be on offer at Lampton Park Conference Centre, beside the Civic Centre, in Lampton Road, Hounslow.
Council officers will be on hand from 11am to 3pm to talk about issues including health, and community safety at the event, organised as part of Carer's Week.
There will also be a range of other organisations, including Carers UK and Jobcentre Plus.
Councillor Shantanu Rajawat, Hounslow's cabinet member for adult social care and health, said: "Many people might not think of themselves as a carer, as it's something they do from the goodness of their heart.
"It is vital support for those that they care for, so we need to make sure carers know what help is available to them.
"I hope as many carers as possible take the opportunity to find out what help is available to help them, and take the chance to meet others in a similar situation."
