Schoolchildren in Hammersmith and Fulham are set to benefit from free entry to the cinema next week.

Film Education’s National Schools Film Week will take place across the UK between October 13 and 21 with six borough cinema’s putting on special shows.

Fulham Vue, in Fulham Broadway Centre, will screen Kung Fu Panda 2 3D on the opening day with Miral on October 12, 127 Hours on October 19 and Chronicle of Narnia: Voyage of the Dawn Treader on October 20.

Fulham Road Cineworld, in Fulham Road, will screen Never Let Me Go on October 13, The Fighter on October 19 and Rango on October 21.

Blue Valentine will kick-off Hammersmith Cineworld’s participation in the festival on October 18 before The King’s Speech on October 19 and Winnie The Pooh on October 21 end the series at the King Street cinema.

Shepherd’s Bush Vue, in W12 Shopping Centre, will screen Kung Fu Panda 2 3D on October 13, Rio on October 14, Mr Popper’s Penguins on October 17, West is West on October 18, Never Let Me Go on October 19, The Zookeeper on October 20 and Turtle’s Tale on October 21.

Westfield Vue will also screen Kung Fu Panda 2 3D on October 13, Winnie the Pooh on October 14, Legend of the Guardians on October 17, Super 8 on October 18, Black Swan on October 19 and Yogi Bear on October 20.
