Fourteen people have been arrested for alleged immigration offences as part of a UK Border Agency operation.

Eight members of staff at Scanwell Freight Services, based in Hounslow, were arrested following a raid on the premises on March 8. Searches at three addresses, in Hayes and Southall, following these arrests led to six more people being detained.

Half of the people are in detention pending their removal from the UK, and the other seven have been granted bail while travel documents are prepared.
