Four day VFX festival taking place in Shepherd's Bush

THE first ever four-day visual effects (VFX) festival is taking place at the Escape Studios, in Rockley Road, Shepherd's Bush.

THE first ever four-day visual effects (VFX) festival is taking place at the Escape Studios, in Rockley Road, Shepherd's Bush.

Celebrating a decade of UK visual effects, the festival will be filled with the most respected VFX talent, visionaries and companies who have helped shape the industry.

Running until Saturday, October 13, the festival will offer insight behind the clever trickery used in major blockbuster films with a four-day programme packed with insider knowledge and information, showreel demos, hands-on workshops and exclusive premieres for those with a creative talent or thirst.

The festival, sponsored by industry software giants Autodesk, will take people behind the scenes of some of Hollywood's most captivating films including Harry Potter, Prometheus, X-Men and John Carter.
