Former Victory owner denies attack

THE FORMER owner of a Pinner pub has denied hitting a reveller during a New Year's Eve brawl outside the popular haunt.

Vijay Behl, of Hill Road, Pinner, is accused of causing actual bodily harm to punter Kunal Patel outside the Victory pub in the High Street, whilst landlord of the pub.

But at a hearing at Harrow Magistrates' Court this morning the 29-year-old pleaded not guilty to the charge and will return to court on Friday, July 24.
