A PINNER ex-pat appeared on television in the United States after a home video of his young daughter giggling went viral.

Jason Adams, 30, filmed a short clip of Lucy, two, laughing hysterically after dropping the family dog’s leash during a walk and allowing the animal to dash off.

He uploaded it to video-sharing website YouTube last week and it received more than 2 million views within a matters of days.

The former pupil of Longfield Primary School in Dukes Avenue, North Harrow, and Nower Hill High School in George V Avenue, Pinner, works as a schools computer technician and lives in St Peters near St Louis,
the capital of Missouri state, with teacher wife Karen, 28.

He appeared along with his wife and daughter and pet mutt Lemay on two of the city’s local news bulletins over the Easter Weekend.

Mr Adams’ mother Sandy Adams, of Tewkesbury Avenue, Pinner, said: “They are gobsmacked. They’re just pleased that they can make other people happy.

“They’re amazed at the number of internet hits it’s getting.

“Lucy’s a little sweetheart. She is just over two years old, but I’ve never heard her laugh like that.”

Mr Adams’ father Nigel described his grandaughter’s cute outburst as a ‘maniacal giggle’ and said the video clip had been mentioned on television across the globe.

Mr Adams, formerly a police cadet, emigrated to the United States five-and-a-half years ago after marrying Karen.

His mother Sandy added: “Karen is pregnant with a little girl called Alice. She was due on Sunday so we hoped she wouldn’t go into labour live on television.”
