I HAVE a stepdaughter living in Cobbs Road, Hounslow.

The flats at the end of the road do not have any rubbish bins.

They are expected to keep their rubbish in their flats until the day of the collection, and then put the bags out.

We have phoned the council more than once and asked why there are no bins.

They appear to be surprised but have done nothing about it.

We were once told it would be put right, but nothing has been done.

They always ask for your name and address, which we have declined to give, as we do not understand why this is necessary.

The fact there are no communal bins means all the residents must keep their rubbish in their flats or on their balcony, which is surely a health hazard to all.

With warmer weather now here, the smell and risks are greater then ever.

Would the council like to comment on this?
