AS I get older, I am becoming more of a frequent visitor of Hillingdon Hospital, and I am a blue badge holder.

Mostly everything goes quite well, unless I've parked in the car park and

I need to exchange my ticket for an exempt-from-payment one before I can drive out. The whole point of my having a blue badge is so I can park near an entrance, therefore not have so far to walk.

It kind of defeats the object if I have to walk to the other end of the hospital, to the chap in the hut by accident and emergency, to exchange my ticket, then all the way back to my car in the car park if the reception staff have already gone home.

There must be a better way of doing the ticket exchange, or somewhere else to do it nearer to the car park out of hours? Any ideas?
