A FIVE-YEAR-OLD boy who was hurt in a road accident more than a week ago is now stable, police say.
Liam Moyo’s condition had been described as critical ever since the collision in Cowley High Road, on January 5.
A police spokesman said today (Mon) that his condition had improved to stable, although he remains in hospital.
Liam was crossing High Road, near the junction with Benbow Waye, when the collision happened
He was rushed to a central London hospital with serious head injuries.
Lauris Freimanis, 25, of Picard Close, Southgate, was remanded on bail by Uxbridge magistrates on Monday charged with driving without insurance or a licence, failing to stop after, and failing to report, an accident.
The case was adjourned to Monday January 23.
