FIRE crews took half an hour to put out a blaze at a house in Hayes this morning (Monday).

Four fire engines and 20 firefighters from the Hayes and Hillingdon stations were called to an address in Cromwell Road, Hayes, at 9.35am.

Part of the first floor of the two-storey house was damaged.

No one was injured, and the blaze was brought under control just before 10.10am.

The cause of the fire is being investigated.
