GRAND cars, glitz and glamour were the order of the day as teenagers from Harlington Community School let their hair down.

After weeks of revision and exams, Year 11 pupils swapped uniforms for ball gowns and tuxedos and headed to Qvardis, in Old Mill Lane, Cowley, to dance the year away.

No expense was spared in making a big entrance, and fleets of classic cars – stretch limousines, Rolls Royces and even a 1930 Bentley – provided the transport.

On Wednesday last week, sixth-formers saw out their final year with a 007-themed party at Stockley Pines Golf Club, in Stockley Park.
