SOME time ago many people from your area contributed to the nationwide Church Survey that caused great debate among churchgoers of all denominations.

I would be most grateful if I could use your letters page to say that in response to the needs expressed by churchgoers in the survey, a new website has been established for their support and help. It will be of interest to anyone who wants to help preserve the Christian heritage of our nation.

Internet Pulpit is a brand new non-denominational resource providing free helpful and encouraging material for these dark, depressing days. You are warmly invited to visit the website at www.internetpulpit.co.uk.

The response to the survey across the UK was so impressive; it means there is something here for everyone, whether they are an occasional churchgoer, a committed Christian, or a struggling believer with many questions. Some articles have been written to encourage and inspire, while others where appropriate are to make people think. New subjects are being added regularly. Among the many topics covered are articles on suffering, God and natural disasters, national affairs, the state of the nation, evidence and prayer.

The aim of Internet Pulpit is to help encourage people in their daily lives and frequent struggles, inspiring them never to give up or lose heart during these troubled and often bewildering days.
