A WOMAN was pulled from her burning flat in Bedfont Lane in Feltham by neighbours on Wednesday evening.

Thirty firefighters battled the blaze – which started in the flat above Woodruff Building Contractors at about 8.15pm.

The woman was taken to hospital suffering from smoke inhalation, while fire crews from Hillingdon, Feltham, Heston, Hayes and Heathrow spent two hours bringing the fire under control.

No one else was in the flat – which sustained 75% damage – and the cause of the fire is not yet known.
