Tamas Szabo, 24, from Feltham who is shift leader for JD Wetherspoon at the new Terminal 2 was one of the lucky few selected staff chosen to meet Her Majesty The Queen.
Mr Szabo has worked at Heathrow for the past two years, and was based in Terminal 5 before being relocated to the new Terminal 2. He completed a customer service course last year through the Heathrow Academy.
Mr Szabo said: “It has been such a great honour to meet Her Majesty today and be a part of this historic moment at Heathrow.
"I have really enjoyed working here and learnt so much thanks to the Heathrow Academy. "Today is a day I will remember for the rest of my life."
