A 16-YEAR-OLD girl from Feltham is hoping to rocket to super stardom as her band's debut single was released today.
Demi Bennetts, of Redwood Close, is one half of pop girl-group Harmony, with friend Megan McKenna, 18, from Essex.
Today (Monday December 6) the pair's first single, Party Time, was released for download, with their album expecting to be released next year.
The talented twosome made it to the semi finals of Britain's Got Talent last year, which then inspired them to take their act further.
They won praise from the judges for their rendition of Cyndi Lauper's Girls Just Want to Have Fun, as well as building a fan base from the back of the show.
Demi's mother Sam Bennetts said: "After Britain's Got Talent we had lots of phone calls from companies wanting to sign them. In October they signed to Sound Bytes Media and they are recording an album at the moment.
"They have been doing gigs all around the country in under 18's clubs and at charity events. They love it. They are always travelling about for rehearsals and meetings".
As well as studying at college, the girls meet several times a week to practise their dance moves and songs.
They have even filmed a full length music video to accompany their debut single.
Demi, who studies dance at Brooklands College in Weybridge, and already has a plethora of qualifications in ballet, tap and modern dance.
