Cineworld in Feltham is due to reopen this evening after being forced to close for 24 hours.

The cinema chain posted an update on its Facebook page to say that it expected normal service to resume from 5pm today (Monday) after resolving 'drainage issues' that led to its closure on Sunday.

The 14-screen complex in Air Park Way, Feltham had told customers that:

"Unfortunately due to circumstances beyond our control, we have had no option but to close the cinema. We are working our hardest to reopen as soon as possible. As soon as we have any further information we will let you know. Apologies for any inconvenience caused Due to a drainage issue we currently have no toilet facilities. The contractor is now on site."

Management hoped to re-open last night but remained shut into Monday.
