A FATHER has been charged with the kidnap of his three-year-old son.

Nathan Williams was found safe and well in Milton Keynes on Thursday night after going missing from his Isleworth home nine days earlier.
This week the toddler was reunited with his mother, Sarah Hendry.

Ms Hendry had appealed for the public’s help in finding Nathan since he went missing on April 13. Police said they were ‘concerned for the safety’ of the child.

The boy, who recently moved to Isleworth from Luton was found in a car by by Bedfordshire Police just after 7pm on Thursday night with two men.

Nathan Williams senior, 27, of Thracknalls Close in Luton, appeared at Luton Magistrates’ Court on Saturday charged with kidnap and threats to kill, he was remanded in custody and reappeared in court today.

Another man has also been arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to commit kidnap and two women, one from Luton and another from Bedford plus a man from the Watford area, were arrested on the same charges but were bailed pending further police enquiries.

A police spokeswoman said: “The child has been found safe and well and returned to mum. The police would like to thank all members of the public who have helped with the search for Nathan.”
