The family of a motorcyclist who died in a crash involving two cars have paid tribute to their loved one.

Peter Ginn, 50, from West Drayton, died after his silver Suzuki motorcycle collided with a black Vauxhall Astra and a red Ford Fiesta on the A4020 Oxford Road, in New Denham, Uxbridge, last week.

He leaves his stepmother, his brothers and his sisters.

In a brief statement, his family said: "Pete worked for the Royal Mail at Gerrards Cross for 10 years, where he was a very well-respected member of the office, before recently moving to Greens Printers of High Wycombe.

"He will be sorely missed by his family and his many friends and colleagues."

The crash happened near to the KFC in Oxford Road, Uxbridge

The accident happened outside the KFC restaurant at around 12.40pm on Tuesday, January 20.

Paramedics fought to save Mr Ginn, but he was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police later arrested the driver of the Vauxhall Astra, a 27-year-old man from West Drayton, on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving. He has now been bailed until March 7.

Officers are appealing for anyone who either witnessed the crash or saw any of the three vehicles beforehand to come forward to help with an investigation.
