A family day is being held for parents with babies, toddlers and pre-schoolers ahead of a new nursery set to open in Chiswick.

MP Mary Macleod will visit The Chiswick Nursery and Pre-School on Malborough Road, Chiswick, and meet prospective parents at the event, on Saturday (8).

A preview week began on Monday (3) and will be held daily until Friday, November 7.

The official launch day will follow with the first wave of registered families welcomed to the nursery on Monday (10).

Set up for busy parents juggling work and family life, the new facility, part of the Busy Bees group, has a vision to provide children from three months to five years a home-from-home childcare experience.

There will also be a chance to explore parenting options such as interactive cooking sessions, parent first aid training sessions and more innovative creations including healthy tasty 'Take Away Meals' prepared by in-house chef, Stephen Montague, to feed children on evenings and weekends, and a 'Travel Light' baby care package for tube-bound parents with everything - clothes, nappies, cream and milk - in one bag.

Marg Randles, Managing Director of Busy Bees, said: “Balancing a career and a busy family life is a difficult art to master. We recognise this and have worked tirelessly to devise a nursery where children’s individual needs are met and exceeded and parents feel supported in every way possible.

”We’re extremely excited to be opening the doors of The Chiswick Nursery and Pre-School, fully loaded with top of the range facilities and managed by such an expertly qualified team of dedicated childcare practitioners.

"A great deal of thought and investment has gone into making this enhanced concept in childcare a reality and I believe, as a parent and grandparent myself, that what we’re offering to families in the Chiswick area is second to none.”

The family day will be held from 10am to 3pm.
