IF YOU are one of the thousands of people who received unwanted clothes, gift sets or toiletries for Christmas, there is now an easy way to get rid of them - and perhaps find something you do want.

On Sunday, January 26, the upper floor of Baroosh in Uxbridge will be transformed into a swap shop.

The increasingly popular concept allows people to exchange three items they don’t want, for three things that they do.

Everyone is welcome to the event which is being organised by Paula Richards, family friend of Mat's sister, Stevie Davis to raise money for the Mat Davis Foundation, a charity set up in memory of Stevie’s late brother who passed away in in 2012.

Stevie, 33, from West Drayton, along with close friends and family, are continually raising money for the foundation after Mat died aged just 23 from a brain tumour.

The charity exists to provide support and information to young people suffering terminal cancer and their families.

It is just £5 to attend the swap shop and people are asked to bring three brand new items.

They will be given three token in exchange which they can ‘spend’ on three new items.

The event starts at 3pm and last entries are at 4.30pm.
