A ‘WELL-KNOWN’ drug dealer was sentenced to four years’ imprisonment for possession with intent to supply.

Wayne White, 28, of Kenton Road, Harrow, was sentenced at Harrow Crown Court after being arrested in August last year in possession of crack cocaine and cannabis.

The court heard officers had been searching a property in Milman Close, Pinner, in relation to another enquiry and a suspect was arrested on suspicion of handling stolen goods.

White was also at the property and threw a bag of drugs out of the window. A large bag of cannabis was found outside and a large rock of crack cocaine was found under his bed. White denied the drugs belonged to him, but was convicted on April 8 after a week-long trial at Harrow Crown Court and sentenced the same day.

Detective Inspector James McEvoy said: “White was a well-known drug dealer who had been arrested on several occasions but had always managed to evade conviction due to his knowledge of police procedures, this is an excellent result.”
