A 71-year-old female pedestrian who was in collision with a motorbike in Kilburn has died.

Officers are appealing for witnesses after the incident, which took place on Chamberlayne Road on October 17.

At 11.07am the elderly woman was in collision with a red Ducati motorbike travelling south.

Police and the London Ambulance Service attended and the woman was taken to a west London hospital suffering from a serious head injury.

She died on Tuesday night.

Her next of kin are aware and a post-mortem examination will be scheduled in due course.

The motorcyclist, who is in his 40s, stopped at the scene. He was taken to hospital suffering from minor injuries and discharged the same day.

There have been no arrests.

Officers from the Road Death Investigation Unit (RDIU) based at Alperton are investigating the incident.
