An Eid market at ASDA in Hounslow raised £450 for charity.

Shoppers browsed stalls selling clothes, sweets, jewellery and more, and got henna tattoos at the store, in Prince Regent Road, on Saturday (July 26).

The event took place two days before the beginning of Eid-al-Fitr, the Muslim celebration marking the end of the month-long fast for Ramadan.

An Eid Family Fun Day is being held this Sunday (August 3) at Hounslow Mosque, in Wellington Road South, Hounslow, from midday to 7pm.

Families will be able to enjoy fun fair rides, market stalls, a barbecue and a display by football freestyler Colin Nell during the day.
