Eddie Izzard will visit Hounslow tomorrow (Friday, April 18) to show his support for Labour ahead of the local and European elections.

The comedian and film star, who has announced his intention to stand for London mayor in 2020, will join Brentford councillor Ruth Cadbury for a walkabout in Hounslow High Street.

Mr Izzard and Ms Cadbury, Labour's parliamentary candidate for Brentford & Isleworth, will set out from the junction of Hounslow High Street and Montague Road at 12.30pm.

Brentford & Isleworth, currently held by Conservative MP Mary Macleod, is one of Labour's key targets for next year's general election.

According to the website Electoral Calculus, Labour has a 66 per cent chance of regaining the seat in 2015.
