EastEnders actor meets learning difficulty students

AN EX-EASTENDERS star has helped celebrate the achievements of students with learning difficulties and disabilities.

Actor Marc Elliott, who played Syed Massood in the TV soap, presented students from Ealing, Hammersmith and West London College, with Inclusive Learning Awards.

The TV star presented the awards to a total of 300 students with learning difficulties and disabilities at the college’s Hammersmith campus in Barons Court.

Charlie Baker, college marketing executive, said: “EastEnders in particular tackles challenging subjects in a positive way and inclusive learning teachers often use storylines as a starting block for discussion.”
