The Metropolitan Police has confirmed a woman has died following a crash in Eastcote .

Emergency services were called to the scene in Catlins Lane at 2.38pm on Monday September 18 to reports of a collision between a car and a hedge.

London Air Ambulance attended, but the woman was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police has confirmed that a woman in her 60s has died after colliding with a tree.

The woman was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police are in the process of informing her next of kin.

Police have warned motorists to avoid the area as roads are still closed following an earlier crash on Catlins Lane.

Efforts to resuscitate were unsuccessful

Despite London Ambulance Service’s “extensive efforts” to resuscitate the victim of the crash, they died on the scene.

The service was called to the scene at around 2.42pm on Monday (September 18).

A spokesman for the London Ambulance Service told getwestlondon:

“We sent a number of resources to the scene including an ambulance crew, a single responder in a car and our Hazardous Area Response Team. We also dispatched London’s Air Ambulance.

“Despite extensive efforts to resuscitate them, sadly the patient died at the scene.”

London Fire Brigade attended

London Fire Brigate was mcalled to the scene at around 2.55pm but only stayed until 3.03pm.

They sent two fire engines, from Harrow and Northolt, and a rescue unit from Wembley.

The Brigade assisted London Ambulance Service on the scene.

The car the woman was in collided with a hedge, according to Metropolitan Police.
