Some of you out there may have connected with Ealing Lets Get Cooking on Twitter, if not then go to https://twitter.com/ealingcooking -
I tend to wake up researching some interesting recipes or healthy fitness tips to start the day. Sometimes If I’m in a really good mood I throw in some inspirational songs and quotes to get you started. I have as yet not had a surge of unfollowers with my latest playlist but there you go bringing back some feel good factors to Ealing.
In three weeks I’ve gathered a nice sweet following of terrific twitters and glad to get your feedback and pics.
Firstly I would like to say a Big Thank You to all those wonderful restaurants who have contributed so far to our £5 budget recipes from Caribbean Brown Chicken Stew to Chicken Tikka Masala and those unexpected tweets to various borough Councillors replying to what they have for breakfast, the response has been interesting with a curious correlation of porridge consumers amongst our councillors yet glad to hear this is spiced up with some tangy fruit .
The motivation behind Ealing Let’s Get Cooking is to get as many people to start eating healthy and cooking fresh meals and delicious ways to cook on a budget, Many of us have come from different backgrounds and perhaps may have not noticed whether you are eating healthy, longer working hours, access to cheap ready made meals or takeaways.
Perhaps even missed out on being taught how to cook or lack of confidence in the kitchen. With our Ealing Lets Get Cooking Club we hope to dispel some of these myths that you can cook and cooking on a budget can be tasty. We look forward to your feedback of any contributions.
Please join us soon for our first Cookery Demonstrations in Ealing and hope to arrange some supper clubs also.
