IMAGES have been released by police investigating a burglary at an internet café at Queensbury Tube station just days before Christmas.

British Transport Police would like to identify the two men in connection with the theft, which happened between Friday December 23 at 11pm and 9am on Saturday December 24, at the premises in Queensbury Station Parade, Cumberland Road, in Queensbury.

Detective Constable Keith McEwan, the investigating officer, said: "When the owner arrived to open up the store, he discovered the shop had been broken in to and a number of laptops and mobile phones had been taken.

“We have viewed hours of CCTV at the station and in the surrounding area and have seized these stills of two men who we believe will be able to assist in our investigation.

"As part of ongoing our enquiries, we will be continuing to patrol the station and trains along the line and speaking to commuters.

"However I’d urge the public if they recognise either of the men pictured to come forward and help officers in the investigation.”
