A DRUG dealer who stabbed teenager Craig Marshall to death has been warned he faces years behind bars after a jury convicted him of manslaughter.

Kandeepan Balasubramaniam attacked the 19-year-old outside Rufford Tower in Lexden Road, Acton, mortally wounding him in the stomach and then stabbing him again in the back.

Craig made it to nearby Acton police station but died the morning after the attack on September 26 last year.

Balasubramaiam, 22, was cleared of murder at the Old Bailey yesterday, but convicted of manslaughter by a majority of ten jurors to two.

Judge Giles Forrester QC ordered pre-sentence reports and remanded Balasubramaniam, of Rufford Tower, in custody until July 14.

He said: "I shall pass sentence on July 14 you must expect a long custodial sentence. The length of it and nature of it will be determined on that date."
