A JUNKIE who conned cash out of pensioners has been banned from knocking on doors.

Darren Bingham, of Beech Road, Feltham, came to victims' doorsteps in Hanworth, Brentford and Isleworth asking for money to help sick relatives.

He was, however, only looking for money to feed his drug habit and admitted five counts of fraud at Feltham Magistrates Court on November 2.

Along with an 18 month supervision order, the 29-year-old was issued with a two year ASBO which bans him from knocking on any door or entering any property in the UK without the permission of the owner. He is also banned from begging anywhere in the country.

As part of his supervision order, Bingham will have to attend 12 months of drug rehabilitation and was ordered to pay £14 compensation and £70 costs.
